Marinela Holistic Education is seeking an experienced and committed Waldorf educator to join our international teaching team. Our Upper Grades students learn in small, mixed-age classes of up to 15 children, allowing teachers to provide individual academic and pastoral support.
The teacher will plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons for students in Grades 4–6, following the Waldorf curriculum and the educational values of Marinela Holistic Education.Key Responsibilities
Plan and teach Main Lesson blocks and core Upper Grades subjects
Create a safe, structured and engaging classroom environment
Support each child’s academic, social and emotional development
Work confidently with small, mixed-age groups
Maintain lesson plans and accurate student records
Prepare clear narrative reports documenting each child’s progress and current academic level
Communicate regularly and professionally with parents
Contribute to faculty meetings, school events and professional development
Use computers confidently for planning, communication and record keeping
Essential Qualifications
Accredited Waldorf Teacher Certification
Minimum three years of teaching experience with children aged 9–12
Excellent spoken and written English
Strong classroom management skills
Strong organisational and communication skills
Confident use of computers for planning, communication and documentation
Commitment to holistic education and ongoing professional development
